Voices from the Garden features excerpts from informal interviews that I conducted with individuals who volunteer at the garden, from one of the original founders to teenage interns. Each statement is presented anonymously. Together they present hints about the history of the garden, natural occurrences, and most importantly, the meaning of the garden on an individual and community level. Like signposts, they are integrated into the landscape of the garden, reminding us of the human efforts and passions behind the natural beauty.
